BYSJU PRESENTS: YEARS OF DENIAL

BYSJU PRESENTS: YEARS OF DENIAL

At the 2nd series of our BYSJU Presents events, we introduced our favourite electronic music and A/V artists of the moment. Imagine a holographic journey through space, from ambient experimental sounds to darker corners of electro. Thank you everyone who came down to Number 177, and to all our artists for sharing their talent and passion with us. Now on to the next one!

YEARS OF DENIAL (LIVE SET)

Years of Denial is a fetishtic ritual of contorted flesh and altered states, a feverish/ infectious paradox of primitivism and modernity. The band is the alter-face of French musician/DJ/producer Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech performance artist/DJ Barkosina Hanusova. Together they produce and perform Dub infected gritty Techno/EBM and Industrial Noise. With the use of hardware and a modular synth combined with vocals and a plethora of handmade noise devices, YOD are re-visiting the dark corner of New Wave, Post Punk and rave culture.

HEMS (DJ SET)

Every time Hems releases one of his beautiful soundscapes we get more inspired (and ask: how did this happen?). Believe me, get your headphones and get ready for an otherworldly trip!

The last time hems played a dj set for us some deaf people started to dance while everyone else went out for a "smoke".

HANZO (LIVE VISUALS)
